Thursday: Pork Marsala With Mushrooms, Patty Pan & Celery Root Mashers


Our pork cutlet marsala is a high flavor-intense meal—the kind restaurants spend hours for a couple people to prepare, but you will have it ready to eat in less than thirty minutes in the comfort of your own home. We’re giving you two pork cutlets from local, natural pork loin, pounded by us so all you have to do is season it. Pork can sometimes dry out, but because it’s a loin, it’s thinner, cooks faster, and retains its tenderness. Simply dredge these tender, very moist cuts of meat in our pre-seasoned flour and then cook. In just eight minutes, your cutlets will be ready to eat—crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. Deglaze the pan to create your marsala sauce with a little olive oil and water, then pair the meats with local and fresh fall mushrooms, fresh patty pan squash seared with wine and olive oil, and celery root mashers.
